All of your data on Planleaf is private unless you choose to share it with others. Your data is not published on the web. Your data, outside of our server infrastructure, lives right inside of your own password protected email account.
Our policy is never to allow our employees to access the data in our database without authorized reason (troubleshooting an issue, customer request etc).
It is important to understand that much of your Planleaf data is stored and protected right inside of your own email account. Therefore it's critically important that you protect your email username and password.
Your data is also stored on our servers and we use industry standard practices to ensure that sensitive data is secure. We take your data and it's privacy very seriously.
We do not store any passwords since Planleaf requires none. We use Secure Sockets Layer encryption to transmit sensitive information. However, because of the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that your information is secure from unauthorized entry or use. We work with trusted third party services to provide our service to you. The core of services are Heroku, MongoHQ and Mailgun.
We only collect the information that we need so you can use the service including, but not limited to, your email address, first and last name and other email record data.
We absolutely do not sell any of your data to third parties. We do however work with third parties whom we may share limited personal information only for the purpose of providing our service to you.
Just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org requesting your account and it's data be completely removed.
